Morris Moss is a native of Augusta, Georgia. In 1981, he graduated from Augusta Preparatory School and in 1986, he achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia. His accomplishments include an Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, Certificate of Merit from Who’s Who Among American High School Students, Past President of Independent Insurance Agents of Augusta, Advisory Board for Junior League of Augusta, serves on the Board of Directors for The Phinizy Center and served on the Board of Directors for The Kiwanis Club of Augusta.

Morris and his wife, Amy, have two children, Hampton and Megan. They attend Wesley United Methodist Church. Morris is a Senior Vice President of Blanchard & Calhoun Insurance Agency, and he has been with the agency since 1986.
